Could This Be Love? by: Lee Kilraine

Could This Be Love? is the second book in the Cates Brothers series but can also be read as a standalone.

Could This Be Love? is about love, life, forgiveness, and redemption. This novel revolves around Sijan Cates, famous and full of trouble who has come home for some peace and to stay out of tabloids, and Avery Danford, a former actress who needs to get in touch with her estranged family. If only she could find a way to get her face out there, maybe then they'd track her down. What better way to do so then to get into the tightest dress and cozy up to the world's hottest actor, Sijan Cates? Claiming to be his number-one fan and planting a kiss on him in front of the paparazzi is one thing but when Sijan tells the world they're engaged in order to protect his reputation...things get a whole lot messier. Although she has sworn off Hollywood hunks, she has to admit that this desperate measure just might be a pleasure...

It might all be for show but in this sleepy Southern town, love stories truly have a way of coming true...

Let me just say that this cover is freaking gorgeous! It has to be one of the main reasons why I was so drawn to this novel. That and Sijan. I mean, who could possibly resist a Cates brother?

Having never read any of Lee Kilarine's novels before, I was so excited to have the opportunity to get to know her work. Let me tell you that her work is definitely something that left me wanting to read more about the Cates brothers. The way that the author, Lee Kilarine, created such attraction and chemistry between both Sijan and Avery left me reeling. I felt as if their every attraction sparked more interest in me to read more. Besides the attraction and chemistry that was written so wonderfully, I rather enjoyed the plot as well.

The plot was obviously well thought out and was, at times, hilarious to read. The banter between both Sijan and Avery left me laughing, especially when Avery first meets Sijan's mother. Thinking about it still makes me laugh. The only negative thing I can possibly say about this novel is that I felt like the ending was slightly rushed, specifically the last few chapters. Other then that, this novel was truly a delight to read, from beginning to end.

I definitely recommend you check out Could This Be Love? and any other novels written by Lee Kilraine.
