Summary from Goodreads:
Sixteen-year-old Hunter belongs to the Telepathic Alliance for the Latent or Newly manifested, otherwise known as Talon, a bounty hunter community known for their ruthless tactics. Her latest mission in San Diego was supposed to be a piece of cake, but when the job takes a treacherous and deadly turn, not even her telepathic abilities could have warned her of the dangers lurking around the corner.

There's only one place for Hunter to go, and that's straight into the hands of the government and their Psychic Intelligence Team, but even the “normal” world isn’t safe. With each passing hour throwing her deeper into the game of life and death, Hunter must decide who to trust before this mission becomes her last.

Sarai Henderson weaves a story that will both entice you and draw you towards this truly unique novel, Hunter

Hunter was quite enjoyable to read. It was different and unique on many levels, from telepathy to paranormals, Sarai was able to take fantasy and spin it on its axis. The action was breathtaking to read, it wasn't rushed over or slowed to the point where I would have wanted to throw it, it was just purely amazing. Full of twists and turns, you find yourself unable to put this book down for a single minute.

Despite the fact that this novel was fairly short and light read, it was an entertaining. The pace was perfect, the characters were fascinating and likeable (especially Hunter), the writing is solid, the plot was well thought-out, and the whole story was created beautifully.

I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading fantasy and paranormal, or for those that are currently going through the "mourning period" (when you finish an amazingly good book and feel like you are going through a reading slump).
